Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Captixy provides a software service that helps consultants and agents manage inbound conversations from connected social channels, support lead qualification and organise follow-up activity with more context.

2. Personal data we collect

In connection with the provision of the service, we may collect and process the following categories of personal data:

  • Account identification data, including the user's name and email address
  • Technical credentials and connection tokens required for supported social channel integrations
  • Messages, comments and related contact data received through connected channels, including Messenger and Instagram where connected by the user
  • Structured lead qualification data generated from replies, conversation history and workflow activity
  • Billing and transaction-related data, including billing name, billing email, invoicing information and payment status metadata

3. Purposes of processing

  • To provide, operate and maintain the Captixy service
  • To execute the limited automations configured by the user and process replies for lead qualification purposes
  • To display conversation history, qualification context, scores and suggested next steps within the product
  • To manage subscriptions, billing, payment reconciliation and related customer support

Captixy does not sell personal data and does not disclose personal data to third parties for commercial resale.

4. Connected social channels

Captixy only accesses connected social channels on the basis of the user's explicit authorization. This may include Messenger and Instagram accounts connected by the user through Meta integrations. Access tokens are stored securely and used solely to support configured automations, message handling and lead qualification workflows.

The user may revoke access at any time through the product settings or by disconnecting the relevant channel, subject to the rules and technical limitations of the external provider.

5. Billing and payment processors

Billing and payment processing is provided by a third-party payment processor such as Stripe. Payment card details are processed directly by the payment processor and are not stored in full by Captixy.

Captixy receives and processes limited billing and transaction data required to manage subscriptions, invoices, payment status, fraud prevention and customer support. The processing of payment data by the relevant payment processor is also subject to that provider's terms and privacy policy.

6. Retention and deletion

Personal data is retained for as long as necessary to provide the service while the account remains active. Following cancellation or closure of the account, data is deleted within 30 days unless a longer retention period is required to comply with legal, regulatory or security obligations.

7. Security

Captixy implements reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit and at rest and restricted access controls for production systems.

8. Data subject rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data. To exercise those rights, contact us at contact@captixy.com.

9. Contact

For privacy-related questions, contact contact@captixy.com.
